This cold control replaces the original for far less money. Part# is only used to tell you what this item can replace as it is not an OEM part. You do need to drill or punch 2 small holes- about 1/8" - in the evaporator cover to mount this as it does not clip in like the original does, so that is why the picture of my part is different from the OEM part. My picture shows EXACTLY what the part looks like! Mounting screws will be pretty much hidden by the knob. Don't buy this then complain that it's not physically the same as yours- save yourself aggravation and just buy the OEM for way more. I use this in my own service business and I would not be selling you something that did not work! Over 140 sold and the ONLY buyers that have complained did not even read the listing to understand what was for sale. I am selling exactly what is described and have no control over what you may assume I am selling. If you are buying this for someone else to install then make sure they understand what they are getting as they will simply look at the part and say it does not match what they need despite instructions that are included that say how to install it. Comes with mounting hardware and simple to follow instructions on installation as well as how to calibrate it should that be needed. Your knob fits and aligns just like it did with the original.
